Little Red Mitten is a dealership for Majacraft Spinning Wheels.  Majacraft is a family owned and operated company in New Zealand, dedicated to the development of the finest double treadle spinning wheels.  If you’ve always wanted to “spin a fine yarn”, Little Red Mitten carries a selection of gorgeous hand spinning fibres and wooden hand spindles.   They also carry the Table Loom and Knitters Loom from Ashford, for those who love to weave. Little Red Mitten is a beehive of activity and a gathering place for everyone interested in the craft of knitting and other fibre arts.  They offer a variety of classes in knitting, spinning, crocheting and other related crafts with experienced teachers.  Loyal customers have formed social knitting groups, which meet on Wednesday afternoons and Friday evenings in the shop’s community room.  And for those who love to knit for charity, they offer a collection point for finished items and a box of ‘oddballs’ of yarn to donate – recycling at its best!
